I graduated in 1972. Intense, intense memories via this film. A story that is all so very true. If you love urbanity, go to Harvard, Penn, Columbia, or even Penn. But if you crave the out-of-doors, a small student body (only about 3000 when I was there), a more northerly clime, and academics bar none, then Hanover may be for you. It was for me. BTW, it is L-ee-a-zar/zah (the latter if from New England) Wheelock. PS The quarter system is intense. Learning and due dates at a very rapid pace. But but....my three terms of freshman year French were considered the equivalent of four semesters of language elsewhere. (After that year, I was recruited to major in French. I chose Geography instead. I still wonder what would life have been if French had been my future.....)

As an alum, class of 1958, this has many mesmerizing moments. I even spied my favorite chair to sit in as I studied in the library. I would not have imagined I would see it again some 65 years later. Thank you for screening!
